Our Structural Group is growing, and we are seeking a
Structural Building Engineer to join our team in Woodridge or Chicago, IL. We are hiring for this position with options for both full-time and part-time schedules, depending on the candidate's availability and qualifications.
Here's what you'll do: - Perform Chicago Department of Buildings structural permit reviews
- Provide occasional building inspection services
- Provide smaller scale design of structural building repairs/renovations
- Provide general support for the Structural Group
We're looking for: - Minimum of 5 - 10 years of building design and/or permit review experience required
- Illinois S.E. license required
- Inclusion on current Chicago Structural Peer Reviewer list is a plus
- ComEd (inspection/design services) experience is a plus
- Ability to do occasional building inspection work is a plus
