Position Overview

As a Strategy & Planning Specialist within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH.

PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Scope of the role includes:
• Strategy and business analysis
oAbility to identify operational pain points and translate them into AI/GenAI opportunities.
oExperience developing business cases, roadmaps, and transformation strategies.
• Product Management:
oAbility to gather and translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
• Stakeholder management
oAbility to partner with Lines of Business (LOBs), technology teams, risk partners, and senior leaders.
oStrong facilitation and consulting skills.
• Program and project management: Ability to manage multiple initiatives, track milestones, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive execution
• Communication and executive presentations
oStrong written and verbal communication skills.
oExperience preparing executive summaries, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Data and analytical skills
oAbility to evaluate business benefits, operational impacts, adoption metrics, and value realization.
oExperience using data to support prioritization and decision-making.
• GenAI and AI knowledge (Nice to have)
oUnderstanding of GenAI concepts, use cases, deployment patterns, and AI fundamentals.
oFamiliarity with technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Governance and risk awareness: Experience supporting use case intake, review, and approval processes. Experience supporting use case intake, review, and approval processes.
• Preferred background
oStrategy, business consulting, product management, process improvement, data & analytics, or technology transformation experience.

Job Description
  • Supports a strategic enterprise initiative to understand, analyze, develop and implement strategy and planning solutions.
  • Supports team in defining business and/or multiple lines of businesses problems, issues and solutions.
  • Participates in data collection, research and reporting activities for assigned initiatives.
  • Provides analysis and solution recommendation for key enterprise initiatives. Participates in development of presentations.
  • Collaborates with senior Strategy and Planning teams to identify solutions.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $63,750.00 - $106,250.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
