Strategy & Operations (Senior Associate or Manager)

Your Impact: How You'll Help Us Heal a Broken System

We're looking for a Strategy & Operations hire to lead a major customer implementation end to end while simultaneously building the playbook for future implementations.
What You'll Achieve: A Glimpse into Your Contributions

Within your first year, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Own the company's biggest program implementation to-date, hands-on, building and maintaining the master implementation plan (key milestones, dependencies, and accountable owners) through go-live in 2027.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to hit their implementation milestones, acting as the primary point of accountability across functions like GTM, Operations, Revenue Cycle, Product and Engineering.
  • Identify and clear blockers to hitting implementation timelines, especially the ones that fall in the gaps between teams and escalate to leadership when needed.
  • Set and run the program's operating rhythm, including stand-ups, cross-team syncs, and weekly reports to senior leaders.
  • Act as Verse's primary operational point of contact for the customer's implementation team, preparing materials, leading discussions, and tracking action items from regular syncs.
  • Turn what you learn running this implementation into a repeatable playbook so future implementation leaders have the tools and processes in place, even to run multiple implementations simultaneously
  • Travel to customer meetings as needed to represent Verse in person at key moments in the relationship.
What You'll Bring: The Skills and Experience You'll Leverage

We believe that diverse experiences and backgrounds lead to better solutions. While we have an idea of what will help someone succeed in this role, we are open to being convinced by your unique story and skills. If you believe you can achieve the outcomes above, we encourage you to apply.
Core Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years running multi-function programs to a fixed launch date, ideally from a consulting or implementation function within healthcare.
  • A track record project managing large, cross-functional teams, both internally and with external customers, and the ability to "manage up."
  • Experience building a process from scratch and then improving, scaling, or handing it off. Ideally, you're excited by both running a process and creating new, scalable processes for others to us.
  • A demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly on complex financial and regulatory domains within healthcare, and to build deep fluency in Verse's product, operations, and customer value proposition.
  • Elite organizational skills and attention to detail paired with strong quantitative analytical skills to consistently deliver zero-defect work, and experience building or maintaining data dashboards is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and a track record of leading others by setting high standards, understanding their motivations, and communicating empathetically.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when required.
The Rewards & Reality: Compensation, Benefits & Logistics

We believe in taking care of our team, both professionally and personally. Here's what we offer:
  • Meaningful Compensation: $150,000-$210,000 base salary + Equity
  • Comprehensive Health & Wellness: We cover 100% of your health insurance premium and provide access to high-quality dental and vision insurance plans for you and your dependents.
  • Plan for the Future: We offer a 401(k) plan to help you save for your future. At this time, the company does not offer a 401(k) match.
  • Career Growth: You'll have opportunities for rapid career advancement in a company that's at a major inflection point. We want you to grow with us.
