Full Job Description
We're looking for a strategic operator who thrives at the intersection of execution and executive communication. As a member of our Strategy & Operations team supporting our Applied AI organization, you'll be the connective tissue that keeps leadership informed, cross-functional work moving, and teams accountable to their commitments.

In this role, you'll own the operational heartbeat of the organization - building and maintaining executive reporting, driving alignment across engineering, product, finance, HR, and talent acquisition, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll translate complex, ground-level activity into crisp, actionable updates for C-level leadership while simultaneously rolling up your sleeves to resolve the operational and communication gaps that slow teams down.

What you will do:

Internal operations and executive reporting
  • Own the operational rhythm - maintaining a comprehensive, current view of all active projects, commitments, and deliverables across teams
  • Build, maintain, and deliver regular reports and briefings for C-level leadership, covering project status, headcount, risks, milestones, and decisions requiring executive input
  • Follow up consistently and proactively on open deliverables - ensuring teams meet commitments, escalating blockers before they become problems, and closing loops without being asked twice
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between the team and executive leadership - translating ground-level activity into concise, accurate, and actionable updates
  • Establish and continuously improve internal processes, reporting frameworks, and governance structures that give leadership reliable visibility into center performance
  • Identify execution or communication gaps early and drive the right people to resolution

Leadership and stakeholder management
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills across all levels of the organization - from individual contributors to the C-suite - adapting your approach to each audience without changing your message
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders of all kinds - engineering, product, finance, HR, and talent acquisition - to align priorities, surface dependencies, and keep work moving
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings: set clear agendas, drive productive discussions, capture decisions, and own follow-through on every action item
  • Act as a trusted operational partner to leadership, providing the information and structure they need to make good decisions quickly
  • Maintain strong working relationships across the organization and communicate with equal clarity whether you're in a board-level briefing or a team standup

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, business operations, or a related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in operations, R&D management, or a related function - with demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills - you can present confidently to a CFO in the morning and work through a hiring calibration with an engineering manager in the afternoon
  • Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level reporting, with a sharp instinct for what C-level leadership needs to make informed decisions
  • Strong follow-through and accountability - you track open items, hold teams to commitments, and close loops consistently
  • Experience partnering with talent acquisition on technical hiring; you know what strong looks like and can help others calibrate
  • Familiarity with SaaS and enterprise software products and the teams that build them
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Exposure to professional services industries - legal, accounting, consulting, or financial services
  • Experience with program or project management tools and executive reporting frameworks
