Full Job Description
How You'll Make an Impact as a Strategy Manager:
  • Develop strategic frameworks, business cases, trend assessments, and external insights to enable high-quality strategic decision-making


  • Lead the Group's strategic planning process, partnering with the Group Head, Senior Leadership Team, and other business leaders and partners to define strategic direction, establish priorities, and set objectives that align with Bank-wide and Federal Reserve System goals


  • Work with business line leaders to convert strategic priorities into concrete execution plans, defining how each area will contribute to Group objectives and establishing metrics to track progress


  • Oversee the Group-wide Objectives & Key Results (OKR) management process to ensure consistent, high-quality tracking and execution of strategic initiatives


  • Monitor strategic initiative health, identify risks or roadblocks, and work with relevant stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies


  • Analyze performance trends and identify areas requiring strategic intervention, providing insights and recommendations to leadership


  • Identify, prioritize, and support the implementation of continuous improvement and innovation opportunities


  • Establish regular communication cadences and deliver strategic briefings to Functions and Executive Leadership Team on progress and key decisions

Strategic Expertise

  • Work experience in a role that required a strategic viewpoint across different business dimensions and goals


  • Ability to think analytically, frame options and outcomes, and structure complex problems into clear insights and recommendations


  • Demonstrated ability to organize, simplify, and resolve ambiguity


Analytical & Communication Skills

  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and communicating information in a concise and compelling manner to senior stakeholders and varied audiences


  • Experience identifying, developing, and utilizing metrics and KPIs to inform strategic decisions and track business performance


  • Familiarity with OKR (Objectives & Key Results) or similar goal-setting and performance management frameworks


  • Ability to see the big picture, connect the dots, and create impactful briefings and data visualization for decision-making


Execution & Delivery

  • Proven track record leading multiple initiatives to drive results despite competing priorities


  • Excellent organizational and self-management skills with ability to take initiative, ownership, and translate ideas into action


Stakeholder Management & Influence

  • Experience leading discussions with executive stakeholders and influencing across complex organizations


  • Emotional intelligence and ability to build trust, collaborate effectively, and drive business outcomes through candor, reliability, and authenticity

Salary Range: $175,000 - $240,000 / year
