Strategy Insights & Planning Consultant Strategy Insights & Planning Consultants deliver high-quality solutions for our clients. Consultants possess unstructured problem-solving skills as well as strong analytic, synthesis and communication skills. Consultants may work on multiple projects simultaneously. As Consultants advance in their career, they specialize in a particular industry, practice area and/or client relationship.
What You'll Do - Work with project leadership to define project scope, develop approaches, and drive execution across complex client engagements.
- Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data, tracking key deliverables, and coordinating team meetings.
- Partner with client launch, strategy, operations, and commercial teams to support product launch planning and execution.
- Support launch excellence initiatives by helping clients develop and operationalize brand strategies, launch roadmaps, and portfolio plans.
- Serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional client teams, ensuring alignment across marketing, operations, analytics, and commercial stakeholders.
- Drive project management and change management activities, including tracking action items, following up on key decisions, identifying risks, and maintaining momentum across workstreams.
- Conduct issue analysis and develop hypotheses around key client business challenges.
- Design and execute qualitative and quantitative analyses to test hypotheses and generate actionable insights.
- Synthesize findings into clear recommendations and communicate results effectively to both clients and internal teams.
- Independently manage client interactions, demonstrate professional polish, and proactively identify opportunities to add value.
- Provide thought leadership and innovative solutions within project teams and practice areas.
- Participate in business development activities and contribute to internal firm initiatives.
- Coach and mentor junior team members.
What You'll Bring - Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, MS, PhD) are welcome but not required
- 5.5+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within life sciences consulting, commercial strategy, product launches, launch excellence, portfolio planning, or program management
- Experience supporting commercial strategy, product launches, portfolio planning, or operational excellence initiatives within the life sciences industry.
- Strong program and project management capabilities, with experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment with limited oversight and training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to drive follow-up, track action items, and ensure accountability across project teams.
- Strong executive presence, professional polish, and a self-starter mindset.
- Demonstrated experience navigating ambiguity and solving unstructured business problems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- High motivation, strong work ethic, maturity, and personal initiative.
- Aptitude for leading and managing teams in a collaborative environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Analytical problem-solving skills combined with a creative and innovative approach.
- Client service orientation with a client-first mentality.
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively across functions and teams.
- Fluency in English
