About the Role As a Director of Strategy you'll be instrumental in shaping and executing Google Ads advertising growth initiatives. This role demands a unique blend of strategic foresight to identify opportunities,and robust program management skillset to translate those strategies into impactful, high-performing marketing campaigns from concept to post-launch optimization.
Responsibilities: - Support Product Marketing Managers in the strategic planning and end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, focusing on driving product adoptions and program revenue.
- Shape experiment designs and workflows in collaboration with Product Marketing Managers, analytics and product POCs, ensuring tests are robust and insights are actionable.
- Drive global scalability initiatives for campaigns, identifying workflow efficiencies and optimizing documentation for broader impact.
- Contribute to the development of key campaigns and identifying opportunities to tailor messaging and integrate thought leadership for incremental revenue.
- Apply strategic optimizations including the application of Generative AI (GenAI) images to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Champion efforts to increase marketing contactability rates, by monitoring quarterly opt-in email campaigns, monitoring performance, and exploring additional opt-in levers.
- Support the strategic direction and execution of marketing campaigns, leveraging seasonal events to drive share of wallet through personalized messaging.
- Manage the full campaign lifecycle, from initial creative development and legal approvals through to launch, ensuring consistency, correct personalization, and accurate test/control assignments.
- Oversee project lifecycle activities, including creating milestone planners, developing RACI matrices, managing approval processes, and performing proactive risk management.
- Prepare executive program communications detailing launch information, initial adoption, and engagement rates, providing clear updates to stakeholders.
- Proactive facilitates cross-functional collaboration with Product Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Data teams, Engineering, Production, Data Scientists, MTO, and other product leads to ensure unified campaign efforts.
- Act as the primary liaison for production teams, addressing questions and ensuring send counts align with data provided by analysis.
- Partner closely with legal and local counsel to ensure campaign compliance and meet localization requirements across various countries and regions.

- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, experience with project management methods
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex strategic objectives into actionable program plans and measurable outcomes.
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional alignment and influencing stakeholders at various levels to achieve common goals.
- Experience in leveraging data and insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize campaign performance.
- Adept at anticipating challenges, mitigating risks, and proactively developing solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000 USD
