The Opportunity

As a Strategy& Deals Strategy - Commercial Due Diligence Senior Associate, you will help clients navigate transactions by analyzing market trends, evaluating business opportunities, and shaping strategic frameworks that support informed decisions in mergers, divestitures, and restructuring. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, mentor junior team members, and build meaningful client connections while developing your technical skills and broader business context within our Deals practice. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to commercial due diligence efforts, interpret data to inform insights and recommendations, and support delivery of client solutions that align with deal strategy objectives.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing commercial due diligence requests and breaking down transaction drivers into clear workstreams
- Evaluating market trends, customer segments, and competitive dynamics to inform deal strategy recommendations
- Building financial and operational models to assess business performance, value creation themes, and key risks
- Interpreting management materials, industry research, and public data to develop fact-based insights
- Synthesizing findings into concise deliverables for client teams and transaction stakeholders
- Supporting project planning, task tracking, and milestone delivery across multiple transaction assignments
- Collaborating across teams to gather inputs, test assumptions, and refine strategic recommendations
- Mentoring junior team members on research methods, analysis, and presentation development
- Developing client relationships by anticipating needs and responding to changing transaction priorities
- Upholding professional and technical standards while managing work under ambiguity and tight deadlines

- Supporting value creation and growth strategy efforts by contributing to go-to-market planning and execution to help drive business expansion and enhance market presence

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Financial Mathematics/Quantitative Finance, Law/Legal Studies, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
