Full Job Description
Strategy & Business Analysis Leader- Family Care

Job Description

The Strategic Initiatives Leader for Family Care (FC) is accountable for orchestrating the development, integration, and delivery of the FC Strategic Business Plan (SBP) across near-term (0–3 year) and medium-term horizons. This role ensures strategic coherence across brand, finance, supply chain, BG&I, Insights & Analytics (I&A), Revenue Growth Management (RGM), and Customer Development, translating enterprise and category strategies into a clear, integrated growth narrative. A critical component of the role is translating strategic initiatives into actionable implications for customer-facing teams and retail partners, ensuring strategies are brought to life where we win with customers.

About You

In one of our professional roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and deployment of the Family Care business unit strategy, including aspiration, where‑to‑play and how‑to‑win choices, ensuring alignment to KCNA strategy and SBP priorities.
  • Own the orchestration and delivery of the Family Care Strategic Business Plan (SBP) across near‑term (0–3 year) and medium‑term horizons, translating strategy into a clear set of priorities, initiatives, and decisions required to unlock growth.
  • Analyze and assess the business through synthesized functional inputs (internal and external financials, market dynamics, supply chain, consumer and customer insights) to inform long‑term strategy, performance decisions, and strategic initiative execution
  • Lead KCNA and Family Care strategic initiatives, projects, and capability‑building efforts that advance share growth and big bets, ensuring linkage to broader enterprise and business unit strategies.
  • Direct and integrate cross‑functional work across Brand, Finance, Supply Chain, BG&I, Insights & Analytics (I&A), Revenue Growth Management (RGM), and Customer Development, avoiding duplication of functional ownership while ensuring strong alignment and buy‑in.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into clear implications for Customer Development and retailer execution, ensuring strategies are brought to life in customer conversations, joint business planning, and in‑market priorities
  • Guide end‑to‑end strategy development as a thought partner to business leaders, adjusting strategies based on new learning, competitive changes, and evolving business conditions.
  • Own program design, implementation, and change management for select initiatives critical to SBP delivery, including clarifying success measures, trade‑offs, dependencies, and decision timing.
  • Drive structured, data‑informed decision making by framing key questions, testing hypotheses through existing fact bases, refining insights into a clear “so what,” and preparing concise, decision‑oriented materials for KCNA Leadership, NALT, and ELT audiences.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Need to be driven to perform at the highest level possible, and you appreciate a performance culture fueled by authentic caring.  You want to be part of a company actively dedicated to sustainability, inclusion, wellbeing, and career development.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, strategy, sales and/or finance with strong business acumen and experience developing and executing strategy.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related experience
  • Structured Problem Solving: Brings structure to ambiguous problems and possesses the ability to frame key questions and develop a workplan to answer them.
  • Analytical and Quantitative: Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to independently generate strategic insights.
  • Written and Verbal Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint / deck-writing skills; capable of catering a message appropriately for a given audience.
  • Executive Presence: Viewed as promotable to a line operating role or another key position in corporate functions (e.g., Finance, Global Marketing).
  • MBA from top-tier business school highly preferred
  • Industry experience in a consumer-oriented (CPG, retail) company in strategy development, finance, marketing, or other role with strategic content highly preferred.
