Job Overview Impact Advisors is seeking a Clinical Subject Matter Expert to join our Physician Enterprise Services (PES) practice. In this role, you will work directly with healthcare providers and clinical leadership to drive meaningful productivity improvements, optimize clinical workflows, and support margin improvement initiatives across our client engagements. This is a high-visibility, hands-on consulting role ideal for a clinician who has transitioned into a leadership or operations capacity and is passionate about transforming care delivery. Responsibilities • Partner directly with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical leadership to assess workflow gaps, develop and implement enhanced operational workflows which drive measurable productivity improvements. • Lead and support onsite client engagements across ambulatory, medical group, and ASC settings, delivering actionable recommendations aligned to clinical and operational goals. • Facilitate change management efforts with providers, building trust and buy-in to sustain improvements over time. • Analyze clinical and operational data to identify margin improvement opportunities; clearly articulate findings in terms of metrics, financial impact, and outcomes. • Collaborate with internal Impact Advisors Strategy and Operations teams across Revenue Cycle, Labor Management, and other practice areas to deliver integrated solutions. • Contribute to the development of deliverables, presentations, and thought leadership that showcase Impact Advisors' clinical expertise. • Serve as a trusted advisor and clinical voice during all phases of client engagements, from assessment through implementation and optimization. Qualifications Education and Experience • Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) required; other clinical credentials considered for exceptional candidates. • Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience in an ambulatory, medical group, or ASC environment. • Minimum of 5 years as a Director or higher level manager in an Ambulatory, Medical Group, or ASC environment. • Demonstrated track record of driving provider productivity improvements and clinical workflow optimization in a leadership or operations role. • Experience with margin improvement initiatives and the ability to speak confidently to measurable outcomes, financial results, and performance metrics. Skills and Competencies • Provider Engagement: Proven ability to work onsite 1:1 with physicians and advanced practice providers to influence change and build collaborative relationships. • Operational Acumen: Strong understanding of multispecialty, ambulatory operations, care delivery models, and clinical workflow design. • Data Fluency: Comfortable analyzing and presenting clinical and operational metrics; experience tying initiatives to financial and quality outcomes. • Change Management: Skilled at facilitating change within clinical environments, including navigating provider resistance and sustaining adoption. • Communication: Clear, credible communicator who can translate clinical insights into strategic recommendations for both clinical and executive audiences. • Consulting Mindset: Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple client engagements in a fast-paced environment. The compensation for this role includes a salary range of $125,000 - 205,000. For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus.
