Full Job Description
We're looking for a Strategy Analyst to join our team at Lightspeed. This role will support enterprise and business strategy efforts by conducting analysis, developing insights, and helping teams make data-driven decisions. As Lightspeed enters its next phase of growth and a multi-year transformation, this role will help shape and support key strategic priorities across the business. The ideal candidate brings strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:
  • Support enterprise and business strategy efforts through research, analysis, and insight development, including contributing to annual strategic planning and ongoing strategic review cadences
  • Break down complex business problems and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Build models, synthesize data, and develop materials to support executive-level decision-making
  • Contribute to the development of business cases, plans, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and support the execution of key initiatives
  • Help track progress and performance of initiatives against key milestones and targets

What you need to bring:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to structure problems and work through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working with data and translating findings into clear insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership
  • As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.

Even better if you have, but not necessary:
  • 1-3 years of experience in consulting, strategy, finance, or a related field
  • Experience working on structured problem-solving engagements (e.g., strategy, operations, or transformation projects)
  • Internship or early-career experience involving data analysis and business problem solving
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or other technology-driven environments

At Lightspeed, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skill set, qualifications, experience, and market data. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We reasonably expect the total compensation for this position to be in the range of $125,000 - $145,000 CAD. Lightspeed also provides a variety of employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance, RRSP plan and match, paid parental leave top-up, and paid time off.Please note that this compensation information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within Ontario and reflects the amount Lightspeed is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
