  • Monitor and analyze indexes related to your categories and global market trends to inform sourcing decisions and communicate insights to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Continuously research and track developments in the HVAC industry to strengthen decision-making and stakeholder discussions.

Strategic Sourcing
  • Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy for assigned categories aligned with organizational goals.
  • Present sourcing strategies and progress during annual roadmap reviews, outlining achievements and forward-looking plans (3-5 year horizon).
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, supply base improvement, and risk mitigation.

Stakeholder & Supplier Relationships
  • Act as the primary liaison between Category Management, Engineering, and manufacturing operations to ensure alignment on sourcing strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support productivity initiatives, Category Management projects, and new product introductions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including regular communication and performance management.
  • Conduct data-informed analyses to assess and communicate the validity of supplier price increases.
  • Develop a deep understanding of supplier capabilities, geographic footprint, financial health, and operational strengths.
  • Lead negotiations and manage contracts and commercial agreements to align with company objectives.
  • Establish and execute a structured plan for supplier visits and internal engagement to maintain close collaboration.

Execution & Results
  • Deliver against financial targets, including achieving net Material Cost Reduction (MCR) goals.
  • Ensure continuity of supply by maintaining on-time delivery, quality standards, and appropriate inventory levels to support production needs.
  • Manage supplier-related issues, including claims, rejections, returns, over-shipments, cancellations, and category management changes.
