Full Job Description
Business growth lead and Navy liaison for U.S. Naval weapons market, including but not limited to air launched cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, and other related weapon systems. This position is part of the Air Dominance and Strike Weapons line of business. This group is tasked to define growth strategies, identify requirements and capture business growth opportunities with the US Navy customer. This position will also support international opportunities on a case by case basis. The selected candidate will: • Participate in the development and implementation of new products and services, spiral developments, and new business pursuits. • Help build campaign plans to capture new business, support the capture team, and win competitions. • Support development and execution of keep sold plans for ongoing programs. • Function as a liaison between the Navy and the company. • Communicate frequently with government customers at the appropriate level. MUST BE A US CITIZEN-Selected candidate must have an active Secret clearance to be considered Basic Qualifications • Comprehensive knowledge of US Navy Air Launched Strike weapons and related weapons programs. • Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance • Must have the ability to travel domestically up to 50% • Broad industry and Department of Defense knowledge. • Extensive experience building strong and productive relationships with key individuals in the US military. • Demonstrated ability to work and gain credibility with executive leadership, senior military, and civilian leaders. • Demonstrated ability to work closely with and lead a diverse team of experts to accomplish demanding tasks in limited timeframes. • Ability to work in a demanding, high stress environment. Demonstrated crisis management skills. • Existing relationships with key individuals in the US Navy. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. • Track record of exceptional performance in relevant assignments. Desired Skills • Former US Navy Tac Air background. • Experience with Navy Airwing Strike Mission Planning and CONOP development • Solid understanding of Navy Long Range Kill Chain CONOPS • Understanding of Navy Operational test process • Solid working knowledge of US military acquisition process, requirements definition, and program management. • Recent experience as part of/or worked with US Navy OPNAV N9 organizations. • Advanced degree in a technical or business discipline. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $158700.00 - $294700.00 The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
