The Role

The Strategic Relationship Group (SRG) Analytics Manager is the analytics owner for Strategic Relationships (platforms and firms) within Distribution. This role is responsible for building and activating platform intelligence capability that connects client, product, transaction, and engagement data to drive commercialization strategy, opportunity prioritization, and measurable revenue outcomes.

This role is foundational to building a scalable, commercially aligned, and AI-enabled analytics capability for SRG. The individual in this position will help shape how data, AI-driven insights, and intelligent automation drive distribution strategy, platform & firm engagement, commercialization, and growth execution across the organization.

The role offers meaningful exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to evolve into broader strategic analytics leadership responsibilities as the analytics function continues to mature.

We'll trust you to:

  • Deliver High-Quality Analytics: Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of analytics to support relationship managers, strategic RIA firms, firm client services managers and other internal stakeholders
  • Strengthen Strategic Partnerships: Leverage data-driven insights, industry best practices, and home office intelligence to deepen relationships with sales leaders and align with strategic relationship objectives.
  • Completing ad-hoc requests for research, analysis, and reporting by pulling from diverse internal and external data sources, implementing the appropriate method of analysis and offering meaningful insights.
  • Advance Datapack Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to the development and execution of the client master and analytics roadmap, promoting the strategic use of datapacks to identify and implement growth opportunities for Lord Abbett sales and marketing teams.
  • Drive Strategic Relationship Strategy Through Analytics: Utilize data to define, track, and evaluate platform and product commercialization efforts, and execution effectiveness.
  • Collaborate on Data Architecture and Operations: Partner with Data and Technology teams to design and manage client opportunity data, streamline data operations, and provide input on data architecture requirements.
  • Lead Strategic Relationship opportunity assessment: Own and manage platform pipeline healthiness from opportunity identification through various stages to implementation, ensuring trackable and measurable business impact.
  • Deep expertise in 3rd party transactions, asset and activity data and translating them into actionable insights
  • Fostering a culture of data literacy, transparency, and KPI tracking throughout the organization.
  • Identify emerging opportunities to improve distribution effectiveness through data, automation, AI-enabled insights, and advanced analytics.


You'll need to have:

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence within asset management or financial services, with strong preference for wealth management intermediary experience
  • Deep understanding of key decision-makers, gatekeepers, and centers of influence across wealth management platforms and distribution channels
  • Proven ability to partner with platform relationship managers, field sales leaders, and portfolio specialists to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and actionable, high-impact solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership in distribution-focused initiatives and client insight strategies, with particular expertise supporting model portfolios, SMAs, and alternative investment products
  • Experience developing and managing performance scorecards, including defining and tracking KPIs at the platform and strategic relationship level
  • Ownership mindset with strong accountability
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with strong focus on stakeholder service, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative approaches to data optimization, storytelling, and go-to-market execution

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment while collaborating across teams.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Deep expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning, generative AI use cases, AI-enabled insights, or advanced analytics methodologies is strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills are required
  • Exceptional storyboarding skills using MS PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in data analysis and database queries (SQL, Snowflake, AWS, PYTHON)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Deep understanding of CRM and connectivity to transaction and account management systems


Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $130,000 - $140,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
