Full Job Description
Almac Group is currently seeking a Strategic Relationship Manager for our Souderton, PA location. The Strategic Relationship Manager is responsible for the growth, success, efficiency, and continuous improvement of strategic customer relationships at a global operational and commercial level. They will have oversight of all activities of the Clinical Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality and Business Development teams assigned to the account, ensuring the completion of any strategic business projects identified.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Acts as the global point of contact for the strategic client to drive operational performance and delivery across all Almac services and locations. Ensures operational objectives are delivered in line with Almac's commercial goals for the strategic client. Addresses issues raised globally at a portfolio level to ensure full resolution. Acts as a point of escalation on global performance issues for the relevant contacts within the strategic client.
  • Generates and maintains governance structures to support the growth and development of the strategic relationship. Ensure Almac and client alignment both from a functional and a strategic level to ensure continued growth of the relationship.
  • Communicates effectively at the relevant levels within Almac and the strategic client organization to ensure oversight of the relationship at a portfolio level. Engage with the Almac Executive Sponsor on a regular basis to drive joint objectives across the Almac and strategic client organizations.
  • Define and maintain specific global KPIs for the strategic client at the portfolio level. Support Almac internal departments to gather and collate KPIs. Identify trends and report to Almac senior management on the overall health of the relationship
  • Support the identification, prioritization and implementation of new services and/or processes for the strategic client to ensure continuous improvement objectives are met.
  • Engage with strategic clients to ensure alignment across both, technology and business processes to maximize efficiency for the tactical exchange at the operational level. Provide internal support to ensure continuous improvements across all of the Almac process.


Qualifications:

Required Experience / Education:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 year's experience of working in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Minimum of 5 year's Business-to-Business Customer Service


Preferred Experience / Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science related discipline
  • Postgraduate level qualification
  • Project Management Qualification (i.e., PMP, Prince 2)
  • Project Management experience
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience of working with Clinical Trial Packaging and / or Distribution
  • Experience or knowledge of GMP / GCP
  • Experience using Lean Six Sigma methodology
  • Experience in supplier management, sourcing and commercial relationship and/or account management
