Almac Group is currently seeking a
Clinical Supply Manager for our Souderton, PA location. The
Clinical Supply Manager is responsible for the successful execution of clinical supply projects; this includes communicating and driving timelines both internally and externally, working with, or on behalf of customers to ensure correct drug is in the right place on time for dispensing to patients in a clinical trial. This role manages the deliverables of the internal teams as well as the customer relationship throughout the project lifecycle. The exact tasks performed for any given project are based upon the services quoted.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customer Service
- Provide customer service that meets or exceeds customer expectations in alignment with business capabilities.
- Manage and oversee project execution and on-time deliverables.
- Define roles and responsibilities to ensure accurate and timely exchange of information to support project and supply chain strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and initial escalation point for all internal/external project challenges.
- Manage and grow the customer relationship.
Project Management
- Create and maintain project management tools to optimize connunication and alignment on key deliverables for internal/external stakeholders
- Assess and share project budgets with client. Partner with Business Development to keep all activites within scope and budget.
- Effectively manage multi-disciplinary teams across multiple Almac sites.
Supply Chain Management
- Define supply chain management accountabilities based on communication with customer, scope of work, and study requirements
- Develop manufacturing, distribution, and returns strategies for the trial in collaboration with the customer and internal Almac teams.
- Recommend flexible supply chain strategies in line with client priorities.
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
- High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant project management/clinical trial/ pharmaceutical experience OR
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years Project Management /or Operational/Supply Chain Management experience
Preferred Experience / Education:
- Bachelor's Degree obtained in a relevant field, i.e., Science, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management
- Pharmaceutical industry, clincal supplies, healthcare, or clinical trial experience
- Interactive Response Technology (IRT) experience
- Client-facing position or customer servce related
- Project management qualification (i.e., PMP, Prince 2)
- GMP and/or GCP knowledge
- Working knowledge of the drug development process
- MS Office/Suite
