  • Travel as assigned, up to 30-40%.

Full Job Description
As a Strategic Partner Consultant, you will support the profitable growth of Symetra's Workforce Benefits business by managing and growing relationships with designated national and regional partners. You will bring a strong understanding of the market, Symetra's products and collaboration between sales, account management, and operations teams.

What you will do
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic partners
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships that align with Symetra's goals and negotiate terms and agreements that build mutual value for Symetra and our strategic partners
  • Plan and execute on annual partner stewardship meetings and broker advisory board meetings
  • Organize and participate in national and regional meetings with designated strategic partners
  • Follow up on key deliverables and track results to build strong ROI for sponsored events
  • Manage partner supplemental compensation agreements to ensure alignment with mutually agreed upon objectives between partners and Symetra and accuracy of monthly, quarterly and annual payments
  • Travel 30-40% as assigned

Compensation

Base salary: $110,000 - $120,000 annually plus eligibility for Incentive Compensation
