We help shape the policy conversation to ensure the business can continue to innovate and grow. This role has a unique view into-and the ability to make an impact on-high-level executive engagements, communications, and interactions.

You will help our most senior messengers land critical policy narratives on campus. We externalize those narratives via strategic channels, including global and regional convenings, meetings, and Google-hosted events and visits.

Key components of the role include evaluating requests, ensuring discipline around level and ROI, planning, sourcing speakers and content, preparing materials, and ensuring well-prepared teams and executives, all while managing stakeholders on campus. You will need to have an interest in the policy issues that matter to Google, know how to navigate bureaucracies, and understand protocol. You are organized, professional, and have an ability to build cross-functional relationships internally. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive mindset, an action-oriented attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) 15% bonus target equity benefits

  • Develop and edit strategic executive briefing materials and talking points, leveraging AI tools and collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure messaging discipline.
  • Lead executive correspondence and internal communications, tailoring preparation formats to executive preferences and identifying travel opportunities.
  • Drive strategic narrative alignment across external engagements, identifying key messengers and deployment priorities for key audiences.
  • Track, measure, and analyze the impact of visits and convenings against engagement goals to deliver actionable insights and continuous process improvements.
