Job Title
Strategic Operations Lead

About your role:

Cybersecurity Technology Operations (CSTO) delivers operational governance, execution discipline, executive reporting, and service performance oversight across cybersecurity technology services. The Strategic Operations Lead is an individual contributor role that serves as the operational right-hand to the VP, CSTO, driving visibility, accountability, and resolution of execution gaps across leaders and workstreams. This role is designed as a force multiplier for leadership, ensuring strategic initiatives, operating rhythms, and commitments are organized, measured, and driven to closure.

What you'll do:
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, briefings, meeting materials, action trackers, and leadership communications for CSTO operating reviews.
  • Track strategic initiatives, quarterly objectives, milestones, dependencies, blockers, and delivery risks across CSTO workstreams.
  • Own and mature operational governance processes, including standards, documentation, reporting cadence, commitment tracking, and escalation follow-through.
  • Maintain hygiene and consistency across CSTO JIRA projects by validating epic, story, task, milestone, sprint, and status alignment.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for availability, control compliance, coverage, operational effectiveness, risk reduction, service performance, delivery execution, and resource utilization.
  • Monitor organizational capacity, workload distribution, staffing constraints, contractor utilization, and operational demand to inform prioritization and workforce planning.
  • Investigate recurring service delivery issues, identify root causes of missed commitments, coordinate corrective actions, and validate remediation completion.
  • Lead assigned special projects, operational assessments, tooling deployments, operating model changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • Associate Degree, Diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in operational management, program management, business operations, technology operations, cybersecurity operations, or a related field.
  • Experience producing executive presentations, leadership reporting, operational dashboards, meeting materials, and follow-up communications.
  • Experience tracking initiatives, milestones, risks, blockers, action items, and delivery commitments across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with JIRA or a similar work management platform.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, engage leaders across functions, and drive issues through resolution without direct authority.

Experience that would be great to have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting executive leaders in an operations, execution management, or strategic coordination capacity.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity operations, service governance, control compliance, operational metrics, KPI development, and executive dashboarding.
  • Experience within large enterprise technology organizations.
  • Experience with Power BI, ServiceNow, Confluence, JIRA, Power Automate, and Microsoft Copilot.
