Job DescriptionAcumatica is hiring a
Strategic Finance Director to lead high-priority strategic finance initiatives and decision support across the business. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Finance, you will partner directly with senior leaders across the company to evaluate business performance, growth opportunities, and capital allocation decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead long-range planning, scenario analysis, and other strategic planning initiatives that help shape long-term business direction.
- Own analytical frameworks that evaluate economics by sales motion and line of business, improving visibility into what is driving performance.
- Lead the financial evaluation of major investments and capital allocation decisions, including development of business cases and ROI analysis to inform resource allocation.
- Partner directly with senior leaders across Finance and the business to frame complex questions, evaluate tradeoffs, and advise on strategic decisions.
- Lead financial planning and decision support for Payments, including forecasting, P&L management, and investment analysis.
- Partner on M&A activities, leading financial modeling and analysis to support diligence and investment decisions.
- Establish and improve Finance tools, reporting, automation, and analytical processes to increase decision-making speed and quality.
- Synthesize analyses and recommendations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, investment banking, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently structure and lead complex, cross-functional financial analyses and solve ambiguous business problems.
- Business judgment, with the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Strong executive presence and written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders.
- Experience in a SaaS / software business strongly preferred.
Additional InformationFor this role, the salary range is $175,000-$205,000 annually. This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job and may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant elements.
