Strategic Communication Specialist

Position Overview

Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communication Specialist to support Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3). This position implements and facilitates strategic communications that support strategic, operational, and tactical communication efforts across the organization. The selected candidate will coordinate and execute marketing communication initiatives, public relations activities, special events, advertising campaigns, and brand awareness efforts while developing and maintaining communication standards across publications, presentations, digital platforms, web services, and other communication channels. The specialist will support internal and external messaging initiatives, develop and distribute communication products, and assist the Public Affairs Office in documenting communication processes and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency and continuity of operations.

Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in strategic communications or a related field; OR 8-10 years with a BA/BS; OR 6-8 years with an MA/MS/MBA.
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community, cyberspace, Federal Government, or Department of War communications initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Federal and/or DoW policies, procedures, and communication requirements.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create executive-level communication products and messaging.
  • Excellent oral communication skills with experience briefing stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic communication and public affairs campaigns.
  • Experience managing content across websites, publications, presentations, social media, and digital communication platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, intelligence, or defense organizations. Experience with public affairs, media engagement, branding initiatives, change management communications, and executive communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and facilitate strategic communications in support of DC3 mission objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic, operational, and tactical communication plans and campaigns.
  • Coordinate marketing communications, public relations activities, advertising efforts, and special events.
  • Maintain communication standards and messaging consistency across multiple communication channels.
  • Develop, edit, and distribute news releases, informational content, publications, and communication products.
  • Support internal and external outreach initiatives to enhance stakeholder awareness and engagement.
  • Produce presentations, reports, web content, publications, and executive communication materials.
  • Manage communication activities across digital platforms, websites, and other media channels.
  • Support branding and awareness initiatives that promote organizational objectives and mission priorities.
  • Assist the Public Affairs Office in documenting procedures, engagements, and communication processes.
  • Ensure communications products and services are delivered in accordance with established service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to identify communication opportunities, risks, and messaging priorities.
  • Support continuity of operations through the development and maintenance of communication-related standard operating procedures.
