The RoleThis is a rare opportunity to join Warp at a pivotal moment in our growth. You would directly help scale the go-to-market motion for Warp Factories, our platform for helping engineering organizations automate major parts of the software development lifecycle with AI agents.
As enterprises move from individual developers using AI to deploying agents across the software development lifecycle, they need infrastructure to build, run, and manage these systems at scale. Warp Factories takes a platform approach: rather than prescribing a single agent, model, or workflow, we give engineering organizations the infrastructure to build software factories around their own environments, tools, and requirements.
As a Strategic Account Executive, you'll work with some of the world's largest and most sophisticated engineering organizations to help them make this transition. You'll own complex, high-value opportunities from initial discovery through technical evaluation, FDE-led deployments, executive alignment, and commercial close.
You'll join a team with strong product momentum and an established enterprise customer base, while still having the opportunity to shape how we bring a new category of infrastructure to market. We're looking for someone who wants to build: someone who is excited to develop new use cases, work closely with customers and our product team, and help define what great enterprise adoption of Warp Factories looks like.
Responsibilities- Own the full sales cycle for strategic enterprise accounts, from initial engagement and discovery through technical evaluation, procurement, and close.
- Sell Warp Factories to senior engineering, AI, platform, and technology leaders, helping customers understand how agentic software development can transform engineering velocity, cost, and operating models.
- Help customers identify high-value opportunities for software factories and translate broad AI initiatives into concrete deployments with measurable business outcomes.
- Position Warp's infrastructure-first approach and help customers understand how they can build and operate software factories without locking themselves into a single agent, model, or workflow.
- Structure and sell FDE-led engagements where Warp works alongside customers to design, deploy, and operationalize their first software factories.
- Partner closely with Forward Deployed Engineers, Solutions Engineers, Product, and Engineering throughout complex technical evaluations and deployments.
- Navigate multi-threaded enterprise deals involving engineering leadership, AI/platform teams, security, procurement, legal, and executive stakeholders.
- Build compelling business cases connecting technical outcomes - including increased automation, engineering throughput, and cost efficiency - to executive priorities and ROI.
- Develop champions and executive relationships across strategic accounts and create paths from initial deployments to broad enterprise adoption.
- Contribute to Warp's strategic sales motion by helping refine qualification, messaging, use cases, commercial structures, and deployment playbooks based on what you're seeing in the market.
Must Have- 6-10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a track record of closing complex, high-value deals with large organizations, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience selling highly technical products to engineering, infrastructure, platform, or AI organizations.
- Strong consultative selling skills, including the ability to uncover new use cases, navigate technical evaluations, and build compelling business cases.
- Demonstrated ability to create executive-level urgency around emerging technologies and new ways of working.
- Ability to engage credibly with everyone from hands-on engineering leaders to CTOs, CIOs, and other C-suite executives.
- Strong technical curiosity. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable going deep on AI agents, developer workflows, infrastructure, security, and software architecture.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change. You take ownership, move quickly, and enjoy helping shape the path forward.
- A builder mentality. You're excited to help evolve the sales motion, develop new use cases, and work closely with customers and internal teams as the market develops.
Nice to Have- Experience selling AI infrastructure, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, data infrastructure, or other deeply technical platforms.
- Experience selling agentic AI, coding agents, developer productivity platforms, or enterprise AI initiatives.
- Experience selling software alongside Forward Deployed Engineering, implementation, or other hands-on technical engagements.
- Experience selling infrastructure or platform products where flexibility, extensibility, and interoperability are central to the value proposition.
- Experience at an early or growth-stage company where you helped scale an enterprise sales motion or bring a new product to market.
- Existing relationships with senior engineering, AI, platform, CIO, or CTO leaders at large enterprises.
Salary TransparencyTotal compensation at Warp consists of two parts: 1) a competitive base salary, and 2) meaningful equity.
When we find the right person, we try to put our best foot forward with an offer that excites you. The budgeted compensation range for this role is targeted at $330,000 to $350,000, with a 60/40 split. Final total compensation depends on experience and expertise.
In addition to salary, all employees receive further compensation in the form of equity in the company. This is a meaningful stock option grant with a four-year vesting period and one-year cliff. Your equity is where most of the significant upside potential is. Comparing startup equity is always a bit tricky, so we're happy to walk you through different valuation scenarios at the offer stage in order to help paint a clearer picture of the upside.
Final total compensation is determined by multiple factors including your experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
