Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Storage Administrator to provide advanced administration and support for enterprise storage infrastructure. This role focuses on NetApp storage environments (FAS, ONTAP), multi-vendor storage platforms, and cross-platform system administration. The consultant will ensure high availability, performance optimization, and operational excellence while supporting ITIL-based service management processes.

Key Responsibilities
Storage & Infrastructure Management
  • Administer and support NetApp FAS systems and NetApp ONTAP environments.
  • Provide advanced support for NAS and SAN storage architectures, including provisioning, zoning, and performance optimization.
  • Manage EMC storage platforms and interoperable storage environments.
  • Perform capacity planning, replication, backup integration, and disaster recovery configuration.
  • Utilize NetApp Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) for proactive monitoring, performance analysis, alerting, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot complex storage issues and implement performance tuning improvements.

Identity & Authentication
  • Configure and support authentication protocols including Kerberos and LDAP.
  • Integrate infrastructure systems with enterprise directory services and access control frameworks.

IT Service Management
  • Support ITIL-based Incident Management and Problem Management processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to recurring issues.
  • Utilize ServiceNow ITSM for incident tracking, workflow management, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, changes, and infrastructure configurations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of enterprise infrastructure and storage administration experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • NetApp ONTAP
    • NetApp FAS
    • NetApp Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM)
    • SAN and NAS storage environments
    • Windows Server administration
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration
    • EMC storage systems
    • Microsoft PowerShell scripting

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and ITIL service management practices.
  • Knowledge of enterprise authentication technologies, including Kerberos and LDAP.
  • One or more of the following certifications:
    • NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE)
    • Microsoft Certification
    • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

Required Skills
