STIP Manager

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative professional to serve as our Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) Manager. In this dual-capacity leadership role, you will safeguard the integrity of Utah's multi-billion-dollar transportation programming system while directing UDOT's Program Finance division. If you excel at driving data accuracy, navigating complex state and federal regulations, leading high-performing teams, and presenting decision-ready briefings to executive leadership, we invite you to help build the future of Utah's transportation infrastructure.

Additionally, this position serves as the Division Manager over UDOT's Program Finance team (a direct staff of six). You will lead daily operations to validate funding eligibility, run scenario analyses, and align funding approval pipelines with UDOT Advertising and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The ideal candidate brings exceptional discretion, strategic judgment, and strong diplomatic skills to coordinate effectively across Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs), executive leadership, and federal partners.
