Role Scope- Own supplier quality for steel fabrication and building systems suppliers feeding the modular build.
- Audit fabrication shops on weld quality, dimensional control, and coating systems before and during production.
- Run source inspections on fabricated assemblies so defects get caught at the shop, not at the site crane.
- Standardize the quality requirements flowdown so every fabricator builds to the same bar.

- You read weld procedure specifications and structural drawings fluently.
- You've rejected fabricated work and managed the schedule fallout it caused.
- You bring shops up to standard rather than just documenting that they miss it.
- Bonus: AWS CWI certification. AISC-certified shop experience. NDE methods. Modular construction QA.
