Full Job Description
Position Summary: The Station Production Controller is responsible for the efficient, timely planning and coordination of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities at the station, ensuring aircraft availability, regulatory compliance, and optimal resource utilization. The role interfaces with operations, Maintenance Control, Planning, Supply chain, Engineering, and Ground services to ensure station readiness, minimize downtime and support the airline's operational reliability goals. This role functions as a key operational advisor to manage priorities, analyze performance data and implement processes.

Major Job Accountabilities:
  • Plan, coordinate and control station production schedules and resource allocation to meet operational and safety objectives.
  • Create, maintain, and update the Line Status Sheet Report.
  • Direct operational staff regarding priorities, procedures and workflow, including leading daily Meetings.
  • Maintain and develop the station's maintenance schedule (daily and overnight operations), aligning with the fleet schedule, routing, and commercial requirements.
  • Coordinate maintenance packages, task cards, and work scopes to ensure required parts, tooling, manpower, consumables, and access are in place before aircraft arrival.
  • Monitor aircraft arrival/departure times, gate/stand constraints, ground handling availability and ensure that maintenance tasks are sequenced and prioritized appropriately.
  • Maintain station capability information (skills, tooling, manpower hours, shift coverage) and liaise with Maintenance Control Centre (MCC), Planning, Engineering and Supply Chain to identify and resolve resource constraints.
  • Analyze production capacity, demand forecasts and operational needs to proactively adjust staffing needs and priorities, including monitoring the man hours available versus the man hours planned.
  • Maximize downtime opportunities for defect resolution within the station priorities and communicate changes.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency, quality and on-time performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., airworthiness directives, service bulletins, maintenance program tasks) and internal procedures.
  • Support the execution of out-of-service (OOS) aircraft routing, recovery plans, and deviation management, working closely with line operations, engineering, and station teams.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations on station performance metrics.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in the airline industry, preferably with wide-body aircraft.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree in aviation maintenance, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance programs, MEL/CDL procedures, and maintenance documentation standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data, including AMMs, IPCs, wiring diagrams, task cards, and engineering documents.
  • Experienced transport category aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software and in use of digital manuals a must.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data, including AMMs, IPCs, wiring diagrams, task cards, and engineering documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, time-critical operational environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and compliance requirements.

Special Demands:
  • Shifts: 12 hours - any/all shifts (24/7/365 operation) including holidays
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess valid passport and State issued driver's license.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge.
