  • Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of state incident reports.

Full Job Description
Overview

The Director’s primary responsibility is oversight of all services provided throughout the state to include: staff oversight, financial oversight, daily operations and ensure the adherence to policies and procedures. Must have strong management, supervisory and clinical skills, especially as demonstrated by previous experience. Must have a working knowledge of community-based services available for people with development/intellectual disabilities. Will have strong leadership skills with an emphasis on leadership and staff development and the ability to collect and interpret data for program development and evaluation purposes. Must have knowledge and experience using evidence-based practices in treatment.

Responsibilities

• Have a working knowledge of all funding sources for all service sites throughout the state.• Knowledge of funding source regulations and specifications.• Participate in the development of the annual operating and capital budget for the state.• Ensure 100% implementation of all company accounting policies.• Ensure all sites develop and fully implement a targeted recruitment and retention plan.• Ensure all Human Resource and training policies are implemented which includes ensuring that each employee has a complete chart with all state, federal, and program required training and documents.• Hire, supervise, reward, discipline and evaluate all direct reports timely and effectively.• Ensure all service sites are in compliance with all state and federal regulations.• Participate in all audits and reviews conducted by external sources.• Develop a written internal growth plan for the state.• Oversee new business opportunities and development throughout the state.• Develop and maintain contact with state and regional waiver staff, support coordinator/case management entities, waiver providers, etc.• Work with business analysts and others to ensure month end close in complete.• Ensure client charts are complete and meet state and federal requirements.• Will keep clinical skills sharp by keeping an agreed upon caseload of customers.• Responsible for mandatory reporting of the state incident reports, complete follow-up to ensure timely closure of incidents reported.• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Psychologist• Must have experience with behavioral intervention, and/or a strong educational emphasis on the principles of learning and developmental psychology.• Five or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population.• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role providing staff direction and training as well as program development and oversight is required.• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.• Can reside anywhere in the state but must be willing to travel as needed.

Additional Job Information
  • Must be willing to travel to all clinic sites consistently (Salem and Front Royal)
  • Must have experience with all MCOs and commercial insurances
  • Must have experience writing and implementing FBAs / BSPs.
  • Must have administrative oversight experience of budgets, forecasting, organization behavioral management skills, leadership and supervision of other BCBAs / BcaBAs, LPC, LCSW.
  • Experience with adult waiver funding is preferred
Salary RangeUSD $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 / Year
