Job Duties

This position provides leadership and oversight for the Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Department, ensuring services are delivered in compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and recovery-oriented treatment principles. The role supervises departmental staff through performance management, coaching, evaluations, competency assessments, and ongoing professional development while fostering a safe and effective work environment. Responsibilities include managing departmental operations, contracts, budgets, staffing, quality improvement initiatives, treatment programming, and regulatory compliance to support high-quality patient care. The incumbent collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment teams to develop individualized treatment plans, coordinate therapeutic services, and ensure timely documentation and patient assessments. The position also leads the development and implementation of therapeutic programming, monitors program effectiveness, and participates in hospital committees and performance improvement activities. Additionally, the role coordinates staff training, student internship programs, and community partnerships while providing education to employees and maintaining relationships with academic institutions. The incumbent maintains certification in behavior interaction management techniques and performs other duties as assigned to support the hospital's clinical mission.

Minimum Qualifications

- Licensure or certification in clinical specialty required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Psychosocial Rehabilitation modalities, theory, and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services
- Extensive experience with assessing and planning treatment; working knowledge of inpatient psychiatric hospitals and interdisciplinary teams in such settings.

Additional Considerations
• Background in program development and management highly desirable.
• Experience in a public mental health setting highly desirable.
