Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering preferred, or comparable experience in industrial robotics or machine tools.
• Technical Certificate or BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in industrial automation or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in industrial automation.
• Understanding of PLC programming languages and ability to troubleshoot electrical control panels.
• Knowledge of Siemens NC Controllers and experience using precision measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and controls engineering expertise for new equipment and system introductions.
• Act as an internal subject matter expert on control systems, system integration, and electromechanical devices.
• Apply knowledge in electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming.
• Travel to customer sites for machine commissioning and troubleshooting support.
• Maintain logs and written records of all performed duties.
