Full Job Description
Superhuman offers a dynamic hybrid working model for this role. This flexible approach gives team members the best of both worlds: plenty of focus time along with in-person collaboration that helps foster trust, innovation, and a strong team culture.

The Opportunity

The Go team owns Superhuman's AI assistant and agent platform-making AI proactive, connected, and embedded across the Superhuman ecosystem. Go moves beyond standalone chat to deliver assistive AI directly inside the tools people already use, connecting 1M+ apps and enterprise systems, powering a growing agent ecosystem, and turning AI investments into measurable ROI.

We're seeking a Staff User Researcher to help define the future of Go: how it delivers meaningful value to knowledge workers, scales across Superhuman Mail, Grammarly, Coda, and partner agents, and becomes a differentiated, enterprise-ready AI layer.

In this high-impact role, you'll lead foundational and strategic research that shapes Go's long-term vision, partnering with executive and cross-functional leaders to prioritize the most critical opportunities and to define the BU's research strategy while advancing AI-native research practices, including using our own platform and other cutting-edge tools to elevate how we work.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead exploratory and evaluative research to shape the strategy and roadmap for the Go platform.
  • Identify the most important user and business questions in a fast-moving AI landscape.
  • Partner with executive and cross-functional leaders to turn insights into clear product direction.
  • Translate complex findings into compelling narratives that influence decisions.
  • Define and track key experience and adoption metrics in partnership with data science.
  • Advance AI-native research practices by thoughtfully integrating AI tools, including our own platform, into your workflow.
  • Advocate for human-centered AI experiences that are proactive, trustworthy, and valuable.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in UX, product, or applied research (or equivalent advanced degree experience) in technical spaces.
  • Proven experience leading research in complex, ambiguous, or zero-to-one environments.
  • Strong mixed-methods research skills, with experience collaborating with other insights partners
  • Experience with influencing senior stakeholders and shaping product strategy.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
  • Experience researching or working in AI-powered products, platforms, or agent systems.
  • A self-directed, strategic mindset and a passion for elevating research craft.

  • Paid parental leave
  • 20 days of paid time off per year, 12 days of paid holidays per year, two floating holidays per year, and flexible sick time
  • Generous stipends (including those for caregiving, pet care, wellness, your home office, and more)
