The Work:
In this important role you will:
Joining the remote Systems Engineering-IT team responsible for the day to day maintenance, trouble shooting, fault isolation, and analysis of complex computer and communications equipment supplied to The Skunkworks™ and other customers.
Responsibilities for this role include:
• Small computer repair and component level maintenance
• Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation
• Support of an operations forward style schedule including varying shift work and daily schedule taskings
• Must be innovative, self-motivated, proactive and always utilize sound judgment, be diplomatic and establish and preserve a creditable relationship with all personnel
• Work extended shifts including holidays and weekends if needed
• You will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• This position will require travel (up to 10%) to customer facilities for integration and deployment events with some amount of overtime required during events

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and skilled professional with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Basic Qualifications
• Current/Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Current security clearance investigation within 5 years from investigation close date.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) access.
• Operating system administration (Linux and Windows Server and Client)
• Hardware field support and COTS equipment removal and replacement
• Solid working knowledge of server systems infrastructure, Cisco Nessus switches, Cisco routers, virtual systems hardware/software (Hypervisor/VMWare), Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 10, Windows 7, and UNIX/LINUX operating systems
Desired skills
• Device Firmware update installation and obsolescence IT cycle control
• Experience in configuration management (CM) database creation and control
• Experience with Audio/Visual (AV) distribution and dissemination technologies and practices
• Cyber Security experience with STIGs systems hardening, security scanning
• Remote Field engineering experience
• Data Link technology experience

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
