About the Team:

At SK Hynix Memory Solutions, our team's dedication to advancing enterprise SSD technologies through rigorous PCIe NVMe validation and testing has established us as industry leaders. Our focus on system-level tests, feature validation, and meticulous bug analysis underpins the reliability of our products. With expertise in testing and debugging embedded systems, we ensure that our enterprise PCIe, NVMe, eSSD products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for PCIe and NVMe enterprise solid-state drives (eSSDs).
  • Manage test plans, oversee the progress of testing, identify potential issues, and report findings to ensure compliance with design specifications, as well as with customer standards and requirements.
  • Perform initial triage of failures and collaborate closely with other teams, including SOC, FW, and HW, to address and resolve failures with coordinated efforts.
  • Perform test gap analysis to ensure seamless integration and reliability of the product
  • Work with FAE/CAE teams to address customer inquiries, debug and resolve issues by maintaining clear communication and prompt responses.
  • Foster open communication channels to facilitate efficient problem-solving and enhance the overall product quality.


Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on enterprise storage or semiconductor experience and BS in computer engineering, EE, or related fields
    • OR 3 years of experience and masters in computer engineering, EE, or related fields.
  • Proven experience with physical protocol analyzers and trace evaluation tools.
  • Mastery of low-level storage protocols, including PCIe (Gen 5/6/7), NVMe 2.0+, NVMe-MI, and SMBus / I2C.
  • Python / C / C++ for hardware test automation and interacting with PCIe configuration registers / firmware registers.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Linux Kernel and drivers
  • Knowledge of NAND
  • Experience with Embedded Firmware
  • Strong understanding of storage architectures and system-level debugging is also beneficial.


COMPENSATION: $120,000/yr - $210,000/yr
