Currently, we are hiring for a Staff Software Development Engineer - Mobile who will work with high visibility enterprise teams to develop and execute Enterprise Solution Strategy for mobile. This Staff Engineer will design, develop, and implement digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects.
Expectations for the Role:
- Leverage expertise to design and implement efficient and scalable native iOS mobile solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards
- Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions, collaborating with senior engineers
- Provide input on technical feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability considerations to ensure that the overall solution meets the desired objectives
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines
- Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure alignment, provide technical insights, and contribute to decision-making processes
- Contribute to the adoption of mobile best practices, new technologies, and tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and code quality
- Participate in knowledge sharing activities, such as code reviews, tech talks, and workshops, to foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team
- Work with other developers and team members to implement complex features, enhance existing functionality, and ensure the delivery of high-quality code
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them improve their technical skills and grow professionally
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- 7+ years of overall experience in software development life cycle experience
- 3+ years of experience in design / development or implementation of native iOS frameworks and/or features
- 3+ years of experience in native mobile based applications / platforms - testing processes, methodologies, and tools
- 3+ years of experience in Swift language
- At least 1 year of experience utilizing AI tools, such as Claude
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Strong Experience working with DevOps CI/CD platform such as CircleCI, TeamCity, Sonar, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Unit and UI tests such as XCTest
- Hands-on experience in testing and automation of Mobile Applications, APIs, Databases
- Hands-on experience with Observability tools like DataDog, App dynamics etc
- Familiarity with SwiftUI
EDUCATIONBachelor's degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$106,605.00 - $284,280.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
