The Opportunity

As a Staff Recruiting Specialist, you are responsible for delivering full-cycle recruitment services for business professional staff positions across the Firm. Working under the direction of the Staff Recruiting Manager, you will partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs, develop sourcing strategies, and attract, assess, and hire high-quality candidates. You will serve as a primary point of contact throughout the recruitment process and contributes to recruiting initiatives designed to enhance candidate experience, improve hiring outcomes, and support the Firm's talent acquisition objectives.

The Day-To-Day

On any given day, you will:

  • May assist in training and onboarding new recruiting team members.
  • May provide guidance and support to Recruiting Coordinators on recruiting processes and best practices
  • Manages full-cycle recruiting for assigned staff positions, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer extension, and onboarding activities.
  • Partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, candidate qualifications, and recruitment timelines.
  • Develops and executes sourcing strategies utilizing job boards, social media platforms, professional associations, referral networks, diversity organizations, and other recruiting channels.
  • Identifies and engages passive candidates through proactive sourcing and networking techniques.
  • Screens and evaluates candidates to determine qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with position requirements.
  • Advises hiring managers on candidate evaluation, market conditions, talent availability, compensation trends, and recruiting best practices.
  • Coordinates and facilitates interviews, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Conducts reference checks and assists with compensation discussions and offer recommendations.
  • Extends employment offers and manages offer negotiations within established guidelines.
  • Maintains accurate and timely candidate and requisition data within the applicant tracking system.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with external recruiting agencies, educational institutions, professional organizations, and other talent sources.
  • Analyzes recruiting metrics and hiring activity to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assists with recruitment marketing initiatives, including networking events, social media campaigns, and employer branding efforts.
  • Participates in recruiting projects and initiatives focused on enhancing talent acquisition processes, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintains knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and recruiting best practices.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.


You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a law firm, professional services, corporate environment, or related industry.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes independently.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter or similar recruiting technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent searches while maintaining a high level of service and responsiveness.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of full-cycle recruiting practices and candidate sourcing techniques.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of employment market trends and recruitment best practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to influence and consult with stakeholders while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple openings and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Location Specific Language

The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $100,000 annually, which is based on a 40-hour work week. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Seattle. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
