Full Job Description
About the Role

As Staff Product Manager, Connectors, you'll own the vision, strategy, and execution for a scalable connector framework that powers data discovery, scanning, classification, policy enforcement, and privacy and security workflows across a broad set of enterprise environments. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this is a highly technical individual contributor role operating across engineering, data science, design, research, and GTM teams. You'll drive complex connector initiatives end-to-end - from technical strategy through to customer adoption and measurable outcomes.
What You'll Do
  • Define and drive product strategy for the connector ecosystem, including long-term roadmap, platform investments, and partner and integration priorities
  • Own the connector framework architecture to enable scalable onboarding of new data sources and applications across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
  • Lead development of core capabilities including authentication and authorization patterns, scanning orchestration, data access methods, and metadata extraction for discovery and classification workflows
  • Drive technical solutions for large and complex features independently by authoring product requirements, defining non-functional requirements, and guiding engineering execution
  • Partner with design to deliver connector experiences that reduce time-to-value across setup, credentialing, permissions checks, scan validation, and troubleshooting
  • Define and operationalize success metrics such as connector adoption, scan success rate, time-to-first-scan, and classification completeness
  • Establish a connector lifecycle model covering versioning, backward compatibility, deprecation, certification, and release readiness
What You'll Bring
  • 7-10+ years of experience building enterprise software products, including 5+ years in product management for highly technical platforms
  • Strong understanding of data integration, multi-cloud and hybrid deployments, and distributed systems concepts
  • Demonstrated experience with APIs and integration technologies including REST, GraphQL, webhooks, SDKs, and common authentication frameworks
  • Proven ability to drive ambiguous, multi-stakeholder initiatives and ship products at scale with backend and platform engineering teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence architecture decisions through clear requirements and tradeoff articulation
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
Bonus Skills
  • Domain expertise in data security posture management and related workflows such as data discovery, classification, and risk posture
  • Familiarity with enterprise data ecosystems including cloud object stores, data warehouses, datalakes, and SaaS collaboration systems
  • Experience with compliance, privacy, or security domains such as least privilege, data residency, or encryption
  • Background building a partner ecosystem, connector certification programs, or marketplace integrations
