  • 6 years of experience working in a product engineering role for display or semiconductor products.
  • 3 years of experience in technical leadership.
  • Experience setting product specifications (ERS/ICD), designing characterization experiments (DOE), and defining production binning and calibration strategies.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Optical Sciences, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12 years of industry experience specializing in product engineering or module integration for AR/VR displays, optical engines, or high-precision optoelectronic systems.
  • Deep technical expertise in electro-optical module integration, encompassing optical, mechanical, semiconductor, quality, reliability, and thermal domains.
  • Advanced proficiency with statistical data modeling and automation tools (JMP, Python, MATLAB, SQL, R) for yield modeling, parametric analysis, and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Proven track record of guiding complex NPI optoelectronic modules from initial prototype bring-up to high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Drive system-level integration, comprehensive characterization, and yield optimization for Light Engine Assemblies (LEAs).
  • Establish, align, and maintain technical documentation, including Engineering Requirement Specifications (ERS), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), product datasheets, and test protocols.
  • Support advanced validation and verification (V&V), Design of Experiments (DOEs), and corner characterization across optical, electrical, and thermal domains to resolve complex multi-system interactions.
  • Deliver continuous yield improvements using statistical data modeling, failure analysis, root-cause determination, and corrective actions (FA/RC/CA) to create tight feedback loops between manufacturing and design.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, test engineering, quality, operations, and manufacturing teams, effectively escalating critical issues as required.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
