We are currently searching for a Staff Process Development Engineer!

Welcome to our dynamic team, where we pioneer the development of processes and equipment for all iterations of Dexcom sensors. From cutting-edge research concepts to the efficient production machinery responsible for crafting millions of sensors annually, our team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Dexcom technology.

Where you come in:
  • You will research and select technologies used to inspect, measure and evaluate sensors
  • You will write scripts and code for image translation and analysis
  • You will bring knowledge on development for vision systems, inspection methods, lighting, camera options and equipment integration
  • You will bring knowledge of data acquisition methods from equipment and into database or cloud storage.
  • You will develop requirements and specifications for new inspection equipment ensuring seamless transitions into high volume manufacturing
  • You will support clinical study design and execution for iterative design improvements

  • You demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize activities to meet objectives on time and with a high level of quality
  • You can evaluate and apply design tradeoffs and constraints for design optimization.
  • You have a demonstrated history of running self-directed projects, managing timelines, completing technology transfer, and executing projects in an R&D environment.
  • You are able to think at a high strategic level down to a task-based level and switch between the two easily. You are a good mentor and leader.
  • You are adept at data analysis methods and analysis software, with the ability to construct appropriately powered and creatively designed experiments to solve complex problems.
  • You demonstrate effective technical writing skills, including ability to write protocols, design of experiments (DOEs) and other technical reports and documents.
  • You have an ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and a willingness to try new/challenging things.
  • You have extensive knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing processes and designs.
  • You have the ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Master's degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years experience.
