Staff Pharmacist On-site • Sterling, Virginia • Pharmacy Operations, Mosaic Pharmacy ServiceHow You'll Make a DifferenceWorking under the supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), you will play a central role in furthering the team's mission to deliver safe, accurate, multi-dose robotic packaging and pharmacy care to patients across multiple states.
In this role, you will help Mosaic maintain the clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence that our closed-door pharmacy model depends on.
Your work directly supports the medically complex patients Mosaic serves, ensuring they receive the right medications, clear guidance, and great care management.
What You'll Do- Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibilities, and assessing allergies.
- Dispenses medications by packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals in compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluates and monitors drug therapy regimens for adverse effects, drug interactions, and allergies.
- Counsels patients on their medications and offers expertise in the safe use of prescriptions.
- Supervises pharmacy technicians and other support personnel.
- Collaborates with clinical staff, providers, and other health care professionals on medication-related issues.
- Assists the PIC with managing day-to-day pharmacy operations and workflows.
- Helps motivate, develop, and inspire the pharmacy team to work toward Mosaic's quality, patient safety, and satisfaction goals.
- Complies with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
What We're Looking For Required- 5+ years of pharmacy experience.
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in Virginia.
- Available to work a scheduled shift of 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company-sponsored visa sponsorship.
Preferred- PharmD degree.
- Leadership or management experience.
- Working knowledge of Framework and Parata pharmacy systems.

CompensationThe expected hourly rate range for this position is $59.00 to $62.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range is determined by factors including experience, skills, and internal equity.
