Why This Role Is Different
NPS Pharmacy is not a traditional chain retail setting. The pharmacy is integrated into MHC’s care model and supports consumers who often face serious mental illness, substance use, homelessness, poverty, payer restrictions, transportation barriers, and medication access challenges. The Staff Pharmacist helps reduce barriers by supporting accurate dispensing, provider coordination, medication access troubleshooting, and continuity of care. This role is well suited for a pharmacist who values operational accuracy, interdisciplinary teamwork, consumer access, and the opportunity to support pharmacy services that are directly connected to behavioral health and community-based care.
