As a Quality Assurance Staff Pharmacist, you will play an important role in pharmacist verification, quality assurance, and operational excellence. We are looking for a detail-oriented pharmacist who enjoys collaborating with others, fostering positive working relationships, and contributing to a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities- Perform final pharmacist verification of prescription and order information to ensure accuracy and compliance prior to dispensing.
- Support adherence to state and federal regulations, manufacturer standards, and internal quality programs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate issues, implement solutions, and maintain operational excellence.
- Build positive relationships with team members and contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and engaging work environment.
- Assist with onboarding and training activities related to verification, quality assurance, and operational processes.
- Serve as a resource for pharmacy team members and support problem-solving across the department.
- Support business continuity through pharmacist coverage and operational support as needed.
Qualifications- Graduate of ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D, degree is required
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of practice.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of the role.
Preferred Qualifications- Prefer a minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or related setting.
- Experience in specialty pharmacy, fulfillment pharmacy, mail-order pharmacy, central fill operations, or quality assurance environments.
- Experience performing prescription verification in a high-volume pharmacy setting.
- Experience training, mentoring, or supporting the development of pharmacy team members.
- Demonstrated success contributing to process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
