Full Job Description
We're looking for a Process Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering group and help bridge product design and manufacturing execution for Tenstorrent hardware platforms. This role will work closely with design, electrical, mechanical, test, quality, and manufacturing partners to develop robust, scalable manufacturing processes and transition new designs into production. This role is remote, based out of Toronto, ON. We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting. Who You Are - Manufacturing or process engineer with hardware experience and strong process development fundamentals. - Skilled at translating design intent into stable, repeatable production processes. - Strong in data-driven problem solving and root cause analysis to close yield and quality gaps. - Comfortable driving manufacturability, assembly strategy, and factory execution with cross-functional teams. - Clear communicator who aligns internal teams and external manufacturers on actions and risks. What We Need - Develop and release scalable manufacturing processes for new products and product changes. - Own design transfer into manufacturing, including tooling, documentation, and line readiness. - Define, validate, and refine process flows for assembly, integration, rework, and test. - Set process capability targets and monitor performance using SPC, DOE, and related tools. - Identify manufacturing risks early and drive DFM, DFA, and tolerance issue resolution. What You Will Learn - How Tenstorrent moves advanced hardware from design to scalable manufacturing lines. - How to balance design intent, manufacturability, yield, and production execution. - How to influence product readiness across NPI phases with global partners. - How to improve process capability, line efficiency, and design-for-manufacturing outcomes. - How to collaborate with contract manufacturers on pilot builds, ramp, and continuous improvement. Tenstorrent offers a highly competitive compensation package and benefits.
