Qualifications

• 6-8 years in construction quality assurance, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, project management, or landfill CQA.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Strong analytical skills with proven experience interpreting data.
• Proficient in producing reports, calculations, technical figures, charts, drawings, and specifications.
• Hands-on field experience and familiarity with construction site operations.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Active involvement in professional or industry organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Construction Quality Assurance for landfill projects, including pre-construction planning, monitoring, sampling, testing, and regulatory reporting.
• Implement technical requirements to ensure compliance with client project specifications.
• Direct field staff in sampling, testing, and on-site data collection and documentation.
• Collaborate with geotechnical engineers to review settlement, slope stability, seepage, liner systems, leachate collection, and closure cap calculations.
• Assign and evaluate laboratory and field data for inclusion in comprehensive reports.
• Perform engineering calculations using established formulas.
• Prepare detailed reports and correspondence on project direction and progress while undertaking various field and office assignments.
