What You'll Do:- Design electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
- Support senior engineers in creating construction drawings, technical specifications, and reports.
- Perform calculations such as voltage drop, load studies, and conduit/cable sizing.
- Produce high-quality electrical design documentation using REVIT, CAD, and/or BIM software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders to deliver coordinated solutions.
- Contribute to project planning, research, and design development.
- Follow Kennedy Jenks' quality, safety, and engineering standards.
Who You Are:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years of relevant experience designing power systems, power distribution, preferably in water, wastewater, or industrial waste treatment facilities.
- EIT registration required in the State of California; PE (CA) highly preferred (or ability to obtain within 1 year).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and power distribution systems (120/208V and 277/480V).
- Intermediate knowledge on stand-by generator sizing.
- Intermediate knowledge on CSI specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to attend meetings with multidisciplinary engineering teams; be able to support multiple projects at different design stages.

Salary Range:The anticipated salary range for this position is $105,000-$150,000 annually and may vary based on education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and geographic location.
