Location: Colorado Springs, CO - Hybrid (4 days in office, Friday remote)

Job Summary:

This role requires both hands-on technical depth and the ability to contribute to long-term infrastructure strategy in a fast-moving semiconductor company. The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and operational excellence of Semtech's global network infrastructure, spanning 30+ sites across North America, EMEA, and APAC. This role owns a broad technology portfolio including Palo Alto next-generation firewalls, Aryaka SD-WAN, LAN/WAN architecture, Cisco L2/L3 network devices, and cloud networking across AWS and Azure environments. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise across routing, switching, firewall policy, and network security, combined with the ability to lead strategic initiatives such as zero-trust adoption, VPN modernization, and cross-regional connectivity projects. Working closely with the IT Infrastructure, Security, and Cloud teams, this role plays a key part in ensuring network resilience, performance, and security for a fast-growing global semiconductor company.

Responsibilities:
  • Support IT Engineering, IT Support and EDA teams on network related topics
  • Maintain our actual infrastructure (Patching, devices lifecycle,...)
  • Design and implement new solutions


Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred), or equivalent work experience
• 5-8 years of experience in network administration, IT engineering, or related role
• Comprehensive knowledge of networking principles and practices
• Advanced experience with network architecture and technology integration
• Demonstrated success in network leadership in a technical environment
