What You Will Be Doing- Designing and overseeing robust data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes to support scalable analytics and reporting.
- Translating business needs into technical solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders across departments.
- Establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks, quality assurance protocols, and engineering best practices such as CI/CD and documentation.
- Managing the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of the data infrastructure.
- Staying current with emerging technologies in data engineering and assessing their relevance to our ecosystem.
What You Need for the Position- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering
- Expertise in modern data architecture and warehousing, particularly with Snowflake.
- Demonstrated success in leading the design and deployment of complex, scalable data systems.
- Strong communication with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Python
- Experience with BI tools
Nice to have- Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and SQL and proficiency with tools and technologies such as Azure Fabric/Data Factory, DBT, Fivetran, Postgres/Azure SQL, Airflow
- Experience in the healthcare or human services domain is a strong plus.
