Job Description:Essential Responsibilities: - Lead and manage data engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain data architectures and pipelines to support data analysis and decision-making.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:- 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:- Strong product analytics data modeling (designing scalable, reliable SSOT tables; reducing schema bloat & duplication)
- Event instrumentation governance experience (tracking plans, schema management, data contracts, QA of event pipelines)
- End-to-end pipeline development (SQL + Python + modern orchestration tools like dbt/Airflow; raw 14 curated 14 production tables)
- Data quality & observability implementation (automated tests, monitoring, schema drift detection, launch-day validation)
- Experience supporting product launches & experimentation (Day 0 metrics readiness, first-week validation, A/B test data design)
- Ability to translate product requirements into technical data specs; strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration
- Ownership mindset with experience cleaning legacy instrumentation and stabilizing unreliable data systems
- Full-stack product data mindset - able to define instrumentation requirements with PM/Eng, validate event implementation, and build production-grade pipelines end-to-end (PM 14 tracking 14 QA 14 SSOT)

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:

Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
