Job Summary:The mission of PsiQuantum's Staff Applications, Test & Failure Analysis Engineer role is to serve as a bridge between the Electronics team and the System Engineering team to solve PCBA technical issues; perform failure analysis; implement corrective action in design and test; improve PCBA test coverage; and provide training for PCBA use. This engineer will collaborate in cross-functional teams of thermal, mechanical, firmware, RTL and optical engineers.
Responsibilities:- Gain familiarity with the Quantum Computer electrical and system designs.
- Answer internal customer inquiries.
- Trouble-shoot customer problems, participating in cross-functional teams as needed.
- Perform failure analysis on customer returns and internal yield loss.
- Implement corrective action in test and designs as needed.
- Participate in design and test coverage reviews.
Experience/Qualifications:- Master's or Ph.D. Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
- 7 years of relevant experience in applications, test and failure analysis.
Base pay is one part of the total compensation package. Full-time roles are eligible for equity and benefits. Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic markets, and we pay based on defined geographic zones. This position may be filled within one of the following U.S. geographic zones, each with its own salary range.
