  • Prepare and file sales tax returns on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting and assist with various projects as needed

Description

Position Summary:

Staff Accountant is responsible for performing accounting activities required to maintain the company's general ledger and deliver financial statement reporting in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. The Staff Accountant will resolve accounting issues and assist other members of the accounting team in meeting department goals.

Job Function:
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for US entities
  • Coordinate with international subsidiaries to complete and review timely financial statements
  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
  • Support timely and efficient quarterly and annual audit activities
  • Utilize advanced finance technology such as AI/ML to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency and reduce low value activities
  • Prepare and file monthly and quarterly sales tax returns
  • Utilize strong technical accounting background to ensure compliance with US GAAP and Internal Accounting Policy
  • Updates accounting knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Ad hoc reporting and assistance with projects as needed

Salary: $78,000-88,000

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • CPA a plus
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing a plus
  • Experience in ERP implementation (e.g. SAP, Oracle etc.)
  • Experience in finance AI/ML technology
  • Solid financial analysis thinking and experience
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail; efficient; able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Solid time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Timely and accurate completion of tasks
  • Must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident due to ITAR compliance
