The SRE Technical Project Manager will create and refine processes, work with our site reliability engineering teams to cut through the noise to focus on the vital work improving system stability, resiliency, and scalability. The successful candidate will partner on project delivery, facilitate incident and on-call management, own internal communication of uptime metrics, and partner with SRE managers on lean/essential project creation and management.
This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates located in the EST or CST time zones within the US only.Essential Job Duties- Project Delivery: Partner with our team managers and leads in prioritizing and driving our strategic projects, including enabling them to identify key milestones, determine acceptance criteria, and report on progress, while facilitating collaboration among SRE, development teams, and technical customer-facing teams. Lead kanban planning, roadmap meetings, and retrospectives using a kanban framework.
- Incident & On-Call Management: Facilitate refactoring of our Incident Management process, providing improved incident response, work/life balance for responding teams, and general on-call rotation orchestration.
- Automation: Manage MS Teams integrated bots to facilitate "one-click" incident creation and real-time stakeholder communication. Drive the use of AI bots to automate incident scribing and initial timeline generation. Provide work-intake management through MS Teams-based channels and integrations.
- Uptime Metrics & Communication: Own the weekly uptime report. Track SLIs/SLOs and error budgets via Datadog and translate complex system health data into clear, executive-level updates.
- Blameless Post-Mortems: Drive the post-incident review process, providing clear ownership of post-mortem RCA creation and approval, driving ownership of post-incident action items.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills- Bachelor's degree, software and operations agile certifications.
- 3-5 years project management with globally distributed teams. 1-2 years working with IT Operations and Site Reliability Engineering teams. Experience working in a healthcare data environment is a bonus.
- Proficiency with Jira, on-call rotation management tools such as OpsGenie, Jira Service Management, or PagerDuty; MS Teams integrations, agile leadership with technical teams, kanban preferred. English language professional writing, and agile teamsmanship driving on-target delivery.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI hands-on for operational efficiency. Executive- or customer-facing communication experience.
The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $100,000-110,000/yr, not including variable compensation. An employee's exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
