Full Job Description
The AWS Analytics GTM team is seeking a Senior Worldwide GTM Specialist to help accelerate adoption of open data architectures on AWS. This role will focus on driving strategic GTM initiatives that position AWS as a foundational platform for interoperable, multi-engine data and AI architectures built on open table formats such as Apache Iceberg, with AWS analytics services serving as key components of these modern architectures.

Open data architectures are becoming increasingly important as customers seek greater flexibility, interoperability, and reduced lock-in across analytics and AI environments. AWS is uniquely positioned to help customers build modern architectures that enable multiple analytics and AI engines to operate against shared open data foundations. This role will help define and scale the GTM strategies, customer engagement models, and field motions that support this vision globally.

This individual will work closely with the Principal GTM lead for open data architecture initiatives while independently owning and executing key components of the worldwide motion. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical fluency, and execution rigor to help scale repeatable customer and field engagement patterns globally.

The ideal candidate has experience spanning modern analytics architectures, GTM strategy, and cross-functional execution. They should be comfortable discussing open table formats, interoperable analytics architectures, and multi-engine data platforms with customers and specialists while also driving scalable GTM programs that accelerate adoption and pipeline growth.

Key job responsibilities

Develop and execute GTM strategies that accelerate adoption of open data architectures and interoperable analytics patterns on AWS

Position AWS analytics services within multi-engine analytics and AI environments leveraging open table formats such as Apache Iceberg

Identify and scale repeatable customer engagement models, architectural GTM plays, and modernization strategies that drive adoption of AWS analytics services

Partner across AWS analytics, specialist, and partner organizations to define and operationalize best practices for interoperable and hybrid analytics architectures

Build scalable field enablement, positioning, and guidance for open data architecture strategies and multi-engine analytics patterns

Analyze customer adoption trends, competitive dynamics, and market signals to identify growth opportunities and influence GTM priorities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience

- 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience

- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications

- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences

- Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences

- Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology

- Technical familiarity with Apache Iceberg, open table formats, interoperable analytics architectures, and modern data processing ecosystems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams

- Experience delivering technology products or services in a high growth environment

- Experience working with open data architectures and multi-engine analytics ecosystems

- Experience partnering across product, field, and partner organizations to drive large-scale GTM initiatives

- Experience influencing product direction through customer and market feedback

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
